Franz Rodenkirchen Script Editing Workshop

Franz Rodenkirchen widely regarded as one of the worlds leading script editors conducted two part script editing sessions at NFDC in October and November to fine tune creative producer's instincts towards a project and to develop a sharp analytical mind to asses the potential of a project that comes to producers in the script stage.

Bio
Franz Rodenkirchen has been script Editor / Consultant on numerous award winning films by some of the most admired and cutting edge filmmakers in the world including Jasmila Zbanic (Grabavica - Golden Bear Berlin 2007) Jessica Hausner (Lourdes - Fipresci prize Venice 2009) and Adrian Sitaru (Best Intentions - Best Director Locarno 2011). His projects are routinely selected to premiere and compete at the world's great festivals including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, Locarno, San Sebastian, Sundance and beyond. Rodenkirchen's services are sought after by filmmakers and institutions alike. He is a core advisor for Torino Film lab, Berlinale Talent Campus, Binger Filmlab among others.

Workshop Method
An intensive hands on approach to the theory and practice of script editing and working with writers, including real-project based analysis, the psychology of creativity, narrative forms, structures and options, and final role play script editing sessions with real live volunteer writers!
